Peninsula Co-op is a Vancouver Island based co-operative with our core business in grocery, petroleum and convenience stores. With our head office based in Saanichton, we have 18 gas centres in Comox, Campbell River, Duncan, Mill Bay and Greater Victoria, as well as a Food Centre, home heating division and cardlocks which create employment for 350 full and part-time employees. Being entirely locally owned we proudly share our profits with our member-owners, our community and our staff, which has been a part of our philanthropy since we opened our doors in 1977. We currently have over 108,000 active member-owners. In 2019, we gave back nearly $10 million dollars in rebate cheques. We also donated half a million dollars to local charities, organizations, youth groups, student scholarships and community projects.
